The Acalanes Dons basketball team (Lafayette, CA), dropped 66-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA)
The Highlanders now possess a 18-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Leandro for a West Alameda County - Foothill battle on Monday, January 23. Piedmont will battle a Pirates team coming off a 44-40 league loss to Alameda (Alameda, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 13-5.
The Dons (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Campolindo (Moraga, CA). The Cougars come into the Diablo - Foothill battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Campolindo dropped by Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA), 42-27, in a league battle.
