Nebraska High School Basketball - Overton fells Ansley/Litchfield

Overton Eagles (Overton, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ansley/Litchfield Spartans (Ansley, NE), 51-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Overton upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Eagles host Shelton (Shelton, NE) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Shelton won 49-38 in their recent non-league bout against Wood River (Wood River, NE)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs (Sumner, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Ansley/Litchfield will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 13-0 record after their 77-42 non-league win over Gibbon (Gibbon, NE).
