Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Breckenridge Cowboys (Breckenridge, MN), 71-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wahpeton upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Huskies host West Fargo (West Fargo, ND) to clash with the Packers in a A East bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Packers go into the bout with a record of 9-3.
Next up, the Cowboys clash with the Hawley Nuggets (Hawley, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Breckenridge will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Nuggets go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 53-49 league win over Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN).
