The Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Bremen Blue Devils (Bremen, GA), 39-38 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Heritage (Ringgold, GA). The Generals go into the AAAA Region 7 test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Heritage got by Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA), 46-40, in a league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 12-6 record. They play next when they host Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe for a AAA Region 6 test on Tuesday, January 24. Bremen will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 74-43 non-league loss to Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 18-1.
