Liberty Lancers (Spangle, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Brewster Bears (Brewster, WA), 51-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Lancers travel to Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA) to clash with the Broncos in a 2B Bi-County bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna won 58-50 in their recent league bout against Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Tonasket Tigers (Tonasket, WA) in a 2B Central Washington bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Brewster will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
