The Britton-Hecla Braves basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Waverly/South Shore Coyotes to 17 in the Braves league triumph on Saturday.

The Braves now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deuel for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Britton-Hecla will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 41-39 non-league win over Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-6.

The Coyotes (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Webster (Webster, SD). The Bearcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Webster was routed by Sisseton (Sisseton, SD), 59-25, in a league contest.
