In Saturday's non-league match, the host Eastern Warriors basketball team scored a good 60-46 triumph over the Chillicothe Cavaliers.
In their next game, the Warriors meet the Fairfield Lions (Leesburg, OH) in a Southern Hills match, on Monday, January 23. Eastern will attempt to move on its 14-2 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 11-5 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to Rock Hill (Ironton, OH).
With the defeat, Chillicothe moves to 12-5 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Miami Trace (Washington Courthouse, OH) to meet the Panthers in a Frontier match on Wednesday, January 25.
