In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lakeview Sailors basketball team scored a good 49-34 triumph over the Conneaut Area Eagles.
In their next game, the Sailors meet the Commodore Perry Panthers (Hadley, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 match, on Monday, January 23. Lakeview will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 1-11 record after their 26-18 league loss to Reynolds (Greenville, PA).
With the defeat, Conneaut Area moves to 6-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Corry (Corry, PA) to meet the Beavers in a District 10 Region 5 match on Monday, January 23.
