In Saturday's non-league match, the host Dawson County Tigers basketball team scored a good 53-43 triumph over the Lakeview Academy Lions.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) in a AAA Region 7 match, on Tuesday, January 24. Dawson County will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 3-15 record after their 68-12 league win over West Hall (Oakwood, GA).
