In Saturday's non-league outing, the Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Houston Academy Raiders (Dothan, AL), by a count of 74-22.

The Knights (17-1) will now prepare for their outing against Southland Academy (Americus, GA). The Raiders go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 outing with a 18-1 record. In their last outing, Southland Academy smashed First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA), 42-39, in a non-league outing.

The Raiders now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Headland for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 26. Houston Academy will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 57-16 non-league win over Opp (Opp, AL). The Rams record now stands at 14-6.
