Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR), 39-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Douglas upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Trojans travel to Lakeview (Lakeview, OR) to clash with the Honkers in a 3A Far West bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Honkers go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Lakeview won 54-22 in their recent league bout against Coquille (Coquille, OR)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR) in a 3A Far West bout, on Wednesday, January 25. North Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 52-49 league win over Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR).
