The Hackettstown Tigers basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Ridgefield Park Scarlets to 36 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to High Point for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Hackettstown will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 42-40 non-league win over Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-4.
The Scarlets (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Dwight Morrow (Englewood, NJ). The Maroon Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Dwight Morrow was defeated by Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ), 57-18, in a non-league contest.
