The Southern Regional Rams basketball team (Manahawkin, NJ), was toppled 35-24 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Howell Rebels (Farmingdale, NJ)
The Rebels now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freehold Township for a Shore A - North battle on Monday, January 23. Howell will confront a Patriots team coming off a 63-30 non-league loss to Trinity Hall (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 4-6.
The Rams (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Jackson, NJ). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Liberty was defeated by Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ), 51-12, in a non-league contest.
