The Long County Blue Tide basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers to 17 in the Blue Tide non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Tide now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Vincent's for a AAA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Long County will meet a Saints team coming off a 45-44 league loss to Beach (Savannah, GA). The Saints record now stands at 8-7.

The Buccaneers (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Windsor Forest was routed by Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA), 57-15, in a league contest.
