The Union Grove Broncos basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Martin Luther Spartans to 36 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Broncos now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elkhorn for a Southern Lakes contest on Thursday, January 26. Union Grove will meet a Elks team coming off a 47-42 league win over Delavan-Darien (Delavan, WI). The Elks record now stands at 11-6.

The Spartans (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Thomas More (Milwaukee, WI). The Cavaliers enter the Metro Classic contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, St. Thomas More was routed by Racine Lutheran (Racine, WI), 54-44, in a league contest.
