Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL), 57-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Naperville Central upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Redhawks host Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL) to play the Wildcats in a DuPage Valley bout on Thursday, January 26. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 16-9. Neuqua Valley won 52-42 in their recent league bout against Naperville North (Naperville, IL)

Next up, the Wolves play the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie - East bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Oswego East will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 78-33 league win over Oswego (Oswego, IL).
