Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights (Williamsport, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA), 43-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Neumann Regional Academy upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Golden Knights host Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA) to play the Defenders in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Defenders come into the bout with a record of 3-8. Warrior Run lost 44-32 in their recent league bout against Hughesville (Hughesville, PA)

Next up, the Griffins play the Montgomery Red Raiders (Montgomery, PA) in a Mid-Penn - D4 bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Sullivan County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 42-8 league win over Columbia Montour Vo-Tech (Bloomsburg, PA).
