The North Daviess Cougars basketball team (Elnora, IN), was nudged 46-44 in Saturday's league battle with the host White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN)
The Wolverines now possess a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owen Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 24. White River Valley will confront a Patriots team coming off a 42-39 league loss to North Putnam (Roachdale, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 10-13.
The Cougars (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN). The Clovers come into the non-league battle with a 1-20 record. In their last battle, Cloverdale was nudged by Sullivan (Sullivan, IN), 59-19, in a league battle.
