New Jersey High School Basketball - Paramus Catholic knocked off by Wayne Hills

The Wayne Hills Patriots basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Paramus Catholic Paladins to 44 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Patriots now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Milford for a Big North - Independence contest on Tuesday, January 24. Wayne Hills will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 62-46 non-league loss to Dwight-Englewood (Englewood, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-6.
The Paladins (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of the Holy Angels (Demarest, NJ). The Angels enter the Big North - United contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Academy of the Holy Angels was defeated by Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ), 40-26, in a non-league contest.
