In Saturday's non-league match, the host Sage Ridge Scorpions basketball team scored a decisive 51-21 triumph over the Westwood Lumberjacks.
In their next game, the Scorpions meet the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) in a 1A Western match, on Wednesday, January 25. Sage Ridge will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Lakers enter the match with a 12-3 record after their 67-12 league win over Smith Valley (Smith, NV).
