Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Quartz Hill Royals (Quartz Hill, CA) and the host Hart Indians (Newhall, CA), saw Quartz Hill's basketball squad knock off Hart by a count of 34-22.

With the victory, Quartz Hill upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Highland (Palmdale, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Highland won 50-12 in their recent league challenge against Littlerock (Littlerock, CA)

Next up, the Indians play the Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Hart will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
