The El Camino Real Royals held off the visiting Taft Toreadors soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Saturday's league match.
The Royals now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chatsworth for a match on Wednesday, February 1.
With the loss, Taft drops to 7-7 on the year. The Toreadors host Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA) to face the Patriots in a challenge on Monday, January 23.
