The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX) and the visiting Mabank Panthers (Mabank, TX), saw Tyler's soccer squad get by Mabank by a count of 1-0.
The Lions now hold a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Gladewater for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 25. Tyler will meet a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Bears record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Mabank drops to 5-4 on the season. The Panthers host Community (Nevada, TX) to meet the Braves in a 4A Region 2 District 12 test on Wednesday, February 1. The Braves come into the test with a record of 0-5.
