In Saturday's league test, the host Amity Regional Spartans ice hockey team scored a tight 7-1 win over the Branford Hornets.

The Spartans (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Sheehan (Wallingford, CT). The Titans enter the Southern Connecticut - DII test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Sheehan Guilford (Guilford, CT), 3-3, in a league test.

Next up, the Hornets encounter the Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 23. Branford will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Trojans enter the test with a 2-6 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Milford Coop [Law/Foran/Platt RVT] (Milford, CT).
