Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - New Milford knocks off BBD [Brookfield/Bethel/Danbury]

January 21, 2023: Brookfield, CT

The New Milford Green Wave trounced the host BBD [Brookfield/Bethel/Danbury] IceCats ice hockey squad by a tally of 11-0 in Saturday's league bout.

With the victory, New Milford betters its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Green Wave host East Catholic (Manchester, CT) to confront the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-6. East Catholic lost 5-2 in their recent league bout against Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT)

The IceCats now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Shepaug/Litchfield/Nonnewaug/Thomaston for a Southern Connecticut - DIII bout on Monday, January 23. BBD [Brookfield/Bethel/Danbury] will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Joel Barlow (Redding, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 5-6.
