The Albuquerque Academy Chargers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Highland Hornets to 58 in the Chargers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Chargers now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Del Norte for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Albuquerque Academy will battle a Knights team coming off a 60-44 non-league win over Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM). The Knights record now stands at 7-6.
The Hornets (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Grants was defeated by St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM), 62-30, in a non-league contest.
