The Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) basketball knocked off the host St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD), 71-59 in Saturday's league test.
The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV). The Cardinals go into the test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Spring Mills notched a victory over Millbrook (Winchester, VA), 61-50, in a non-league test.
The Saints now own a 0-1 record.
