California High School Basketball - Rio Americano knocked off by Whitney

The Whitney Wildcats basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Rio Americano Raiders to 63 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now have a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granite Bay for a match on Friday, January 27. Whitney will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 62-57 league win over Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 18-5.
With the defeat, Rio Americano moves to 12-10 on the year. The Raiders travel to Capital Christian (Sacramento, CA) to meet the Cougars in a match on Tuesday, January 24. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 12-8. Capital Christian won 56-50 in their recent league match against Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA)
