Crosby Cougars (Crosby, TX) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Crosby will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX).

The Panthers now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Huntsville for a 5A Region 2 District 16 challenge on Tuesday, January 31.
