Next, the Texans face the Heights Bulldogs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region 3 District 18 challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. Lamar will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Memorial (Houston, TX).

The Eagles now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host South Houston for a 6A Region 3 District 22 challenge on Monday, January 23. Pasadena will face a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Georgetown (Georgetown, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 2-5.
