Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Burncoat Patriots (Worcester, MA) and the visiting University Park (Worcester, MA), saw Burncoat's basketball team trounce University Park by a tally of 71-37.

The Patriots now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Doherty Memorial for a Inter High battle on Tuesday, January 23. Burncoat will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 75-47 league loss to North (Worcester, MA). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-6.

The (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA). The Minutemen come into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Bay Path RVT trounced Keefe Tech (Framingham, MA), 49-40, in a league battle.
