In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Grayson County Cougars basketball team scored a close 64-59 win over the Apollo Eagles.

The Cougars (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY). The Wildcats come into the District 12 contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Edmonson County edged Todd County Central (Elkton, KY), 59-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Apollo will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 2-13 record after their 75-52 league loss to Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY).
