In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Creative Connections Arts Academy Dragons basketball team scored a close 73-69 triumph over the Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy Lions.
The Dragons (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Westlake Charter (Sacramento, CA). The Explorers go into the Northern Pacific Athletic Conference contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Westlake Charter nipped Esparto (Esparto, CA), 64-21, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Victory Christian Vikings (Carmichael, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 11-5 record after their 62-44 league win over Encina (Sacramento, CA).
