The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) and the visiting Mancos Bluejays (Mancos, CO), observed Bayfield's basketball team overwhelm Mancos by a margin of 81-30.

The Wolverines (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ignacio (Ignacio, CO). The Bobcats come into the 4A/3A Intermountain challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Ignacio was trounced by Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO), 46-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluejays battle the Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO) in a 3A/2A/1A San Juan challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Mancos will attempt to better on its 0-14 season record. The Miners come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 66-59 league win over Ouray (Ouray, CO).
