The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) and the host Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA), observed Blue Ridge's basketball team overwhelm Carlisle by a score of 75-18.
The Barons (20-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, St. Michael the Archangel trounced Caroline (Milford, VA), 91-54, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Chiefs encounter the C.H. Friend Red Jackets (South Boston, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Red Jackets come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 70-69 non-league loss to Farmville Homeschool (Farmville, VA).
