Next, the Eagles clash with the East Lee County Jaguars (Lehigh Acres, FL) in a 6A District 12 test, on Thursday, January 23. Gateway will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 6-14 record after their 96-59 league loss to Palmetto Ridge (Naples, FL).

The Bullsharks (0-18) will now prepare for their test against LaBelle (LaBelle, FL). The Cowboys/Cowgirls come into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, LaBelle bounced Babcock (Punta Gorda, FL), 55-19, in a non-league test.
