In Tuesday's league test, the Burke Bengals (Washington, DC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC), by a score of 68-35.
Next, the Bengals clash with the Washington International Red Devils (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA A test, on Thursday, January 23. Burke will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
The Eagles (7-12) will now prepare for their test against BASIS (Washington, DC). The Red Giants come into the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, BASIS was routed by KIPP DC Legacy College Prep (Washington, DC), 78-11, in a league test.
