New York High School Basketball - Mohonasen thwarts Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY) and the visiting Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY), observed Mohonasen's basketball team knock off Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake by a score of 66-58.

The Warriors (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY). The Blackbirds come into the Section 2 Colonial - Patriot challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Voorheesville dropped by Mechanicville (Mechanicville, NY), 58-53, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Albany Falcons (Albany, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Gray challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record.
