The Carlisle County Comets basketball squad (Bardwell, KY), was outscored 51-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY)

With the victory, McCracken County advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Mustangs host Calloway County (Murray, KY) to meet the Lakers in a non-league battle on Friday, January 24. The Lakers enter the battle with a record of 18-2. Calloway County won 80-75 in their recent non-league battle against Harlan County (Harlan, KY)

The Comets now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickman County for a District 1 battle on Friday, January 24.
