The Holcomb Longhorns basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Clay Center Tigers to 53 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Hugoton for a Great Western game on Tuesday, January 28. Holcomb will confront a Eagles team coming off a 60-52 non-league win over Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Clay Center falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Riley County (Riley, KS) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 2-7. Riley County lost 56-26 in their recent non-league game against Moundridge (Moundridge, KS)
