Minnesota High School Basketball - Stillwater can't hold off Cretin-Derham Hall

Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders (St. Paul, MN) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN), 81-78 in a league match.

With the victory, Cretin-Derham Hall advances its record to 14-0 on the year. The Raiders travel to Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN) to face the Rangers in a AAAA Section 7 match on Friday, January 24. The Rangers enter the match with a record of 3-11. Forest Lake lost 73-72 in their recent non-league match against Park (Cottage Grove, MN)

The Ponies now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodbury for a AAAA Section 4 match on Friday, January 24. Stillwater will face a Royals squad coming off a 49-45 league loss to East Ridge (Woodbury, MN). The Royals record now stands at 7-10.
