The DeSales Irish basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Oakesdale Nighthawks to 60 in the Irish non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Irish now possess a 14-1 record. They play next when they host Prescott for a 1B Southeast Grape game on Friday, January 24. DeSales will confront a Tigers team coming off a 64-55 league win over Touchet (Touchet, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Oakesdale falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Pomeroy (Pomeroy, WA) to confront the Pirates in a 1B Southeast game on Friday, January 24. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 9-7. Pomeroy won 60-30 in their recent league game against Colton (Colton, WA)
