Ohio High School Basketball - Vanlue beaten by Elgin

The Elgin Comets were victorious over the host Vanlue Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 48-37 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Comets clash with the Temple Christian Pioneers (Lima, OH) in a Northwest Central outing, on Friday, January 24. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Pioneers enter the outing with a 7-6 record after their 58-45 league loss to Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH).

The Wildcats (2-11) will now prepare for their outing against Elmwood (Bloomdale, OH). The Royals enter the Blanchard Valley outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Elmwood was defeated by Lakota (Kansas, OH), 62-45, in a non-league outing.
