Colorado High School Basketball - West Grand routs Gilpin County

January 21, 2025: Kremmling, CO 80459

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host West Grand Mustangs basketball team scored a big 44-16 triumph over the Gilpin County Eagles.

The Mustangs (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against North Park (Walden, CO). The Wildcats go into the 2A/1A Western Slope contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, North Park was trounced by De Beque (De Beque, CO), 53-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Heritage Christian Eagles (Fort Collins, CO) in a 3A/2A/1A Mile High contest, on Thursday, January 23. Gilpin County will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 68-53 league win over Flatirons Academy (Westminster, CO).
