Indiana High School Basketball - Indianapolis Lutheran can't hold off Speedway

The Speedway Sparkplugs nipped the visiting Indianapolis Lutheran Saints basketball squad by a final score of 58-52 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Sparkplugs face the Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 25. Speedway will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Cadets enter the outing with a 6-7 record after their 70-61 league win over South Putnam (Greencastle, IN).

The Saints (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Triton Central (Fairland, IN). The Tigers enter the Indiana Crossroads outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Triton Central got by Milan (Milan, IN), 51-34, in a non-league outing.
