The Irrigon Knights nipped the visiting Pilot Rock Rockets basketball squad by a final score of 63-60 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Knights clash with the Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain outing, on Friday, January 24. Irrigon will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Prospectors enter the outing with a 11-7 record after their 64-44 non-league win over Powder Valley (North Powder, OR).
The Rockets (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Imbler (Imbler, OR). The Panthers enter the 1A Old Oregon outing with a 3-14 record. In their last outing, Imbler got by Griswold (Helix, OR), 46-25, in a league outing.
