In Tuesday's league test, the St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) basketball squad trounced the visiting Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD), by a score of 67-33.
Next, the Cavaliers clash with the Dakota Valley Panthers (North Sioux City, SD) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 25. St. Thomas More will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 8-2 record after their 70-64 non-league win over Groton (Groton, SD).
The Golddiggers (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Scoopers come into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Sturgis Brown was routed by Stevens (Rapid City, SD), 59-58, in a league test.
