Kentucky High School Basketball - Logan County knocks off Ohio County

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) and the host Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY), observed Logan County's basketball team overcome Ohio County by a score of 60-47.

The Cougars (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Wildcats come into the District 13 challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Franklin-Simpson dropped by Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY), 52-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) in a District 10 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Ohio County will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 72-55 non-league win over Union County (Morganfield, KY).
