The Magnolia Blue Eagles basketball squad (New Martinsville, WV), lost 70-57 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH)

With the victory, Union Local advances its record to 10-5 on the year. The Jets travel to Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH) to meet the Huskies in a Buckeye 8 battle on Saturday, January 25. The Huskies enter the battle with a record of 5-8. Harrison Central won 56-44 in their recent league battle against Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH)

The Blue Eagles now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tucker County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 24. Magnolia will meet a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 70-36 non-league win over Elkins (Elkins, WV). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 11-0.
