With the victory, Veritas Christian Academy advances its record to 9-5 on the year. The Warriors host Temple Baptist (Asheville, NC) to face the Eagles in a Western Piedmont match on Thursday, January 23. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 8-5. Temple Baptist lost 1-0 in their recent league match against Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Challenger for a Western Piedmont match on Friday, January 24. Nebo Crossing Academy will face a Firebirds team coming off a 65-52 league loss to Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 5-6.
